Pots and Pans

Raegan was so cute playing in the cupboard. She just crawled right in and had a ball!! Just think people spend a fortune on toys and look at what they are happy with:)

Hey Leigh,

I would say that the girls are going to be perfectly fine! It's going to be a long and tiresome road, and especially with having two there, but it will go by like a flash and they will be home before she knows it. There are no books, and no amount of knowledge about the NICU until you get there and you experience it for yourself. Each baby is different, and there will be times where she is going to struggle as one baby goes forward and one goes backwards. I know this not only because I did it for only a short time, but I watched London progress so much faster than all of the other babies in the NICU and parents getting so frustrated as they watched her make milestones that they were wishing their babies did the week prior. Girls are stronger than boys, they are more mature, and just do better. Each NICU experience is different, and we know that Ryder wasn't meant to stay with us, we know that he came here to get what he needed to progress on. Science brought him here and it couldn't keep him here. Babies don't typically pass away in the NICU, her babies have a 92% chance of living, and babies born smaller and more premature than hers do just fine. Believe me, just tell her if there is any one word of advise is to expect nothing, anticpate everything, and be prepared for it all. I know that she won't understand why they just can suck on a bottle, and why you can only touch them when they tell you you can, and then one day they say they can go home, and she won't know how to contain herself...it's amazing. It is a trial, but when she looks back it will be the most amazing experience. It's pretty cool to watch a baby grow outside of the womb, and watch the advancements they make. Tell her to take pictures all the time, document everything...journal journal journal. My journal is amazing and London will someday look back on every milestone she made and be so surprised. I talk about the first cc of breast milk that she recieved and everyday the new amount. I wrote her letters every week that I have sealed and will give to her when she is older. Some people don't journal because they want to forget the NICU experience, but I am so grateful that I did.

You can email me anytime at brianandcourtneywilliams@gmail.com, if your sister has any questions, I have been there, tell her to please call me (775) 376.6468 or email...I have been through it all. We will pray for her, just let her know it's going to be a long haul, but it will all be ok!!!

Love ya guys!!! Give those girls a big kiss!!
